Matt is an in-demand
industry professional with over 16 years of experience as a composer,
educator, and musician. He has worked with, and written for, acclaimed
Juno winners & top artists around the world. He has performed for
several celebrities and politicians including former PM Justin Trudeau,
French PM Gabriel Attal, Pres. of the EU Commission Ursula von der
Leyen, and countless others. Since completing his Masters, Matt has
co-produced two full-length award-nominated albums, opened a private
music studio, and is working on releasing another full-length album.
Matt holds an MA in Music & Culture (Carleton University), a BA in
Music (Laurentian University), and three international program
Certificates (Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing, China). He has
taught for Carleton University, the Ottawa Catholic District School
Board, the Barrhaven Music Academy; worked as a musician and cultural
representative in the United Kingdom and China; and directed the Ottawa
Transpacific Orchestra in collaboration with Confucius Institute
(Ottawa).
